Once home to the popular Fortel Smíchov restaurant, and even earlier to a cinema where people came for culture and experiences, the location’s tradition has naturally blended with a new vision — and FOXX RestoBar was born.

The story began simply — a group of friends came together with the idea of creating something new when the opportunity arose to take over the Fortel restaurant. From the very beginning, the vision was clear: to transform a place with a long history into a modern concept and bring Smíchov a venue that combines quality, luxury, and atmosphere — a place people would love to return to.

The name FOXX comes from the nickname of the owner, known among friends as FOX — for his cleverness, perspective, and ability to see things from a distance. FOX became the symbol of the brand, which also encompasses other ventures such as Fox Star Expres s.r.o. and Fox Wellness. Wanting a name that was simple and clear, FOXX RestoBar was created — a place where restaurant and bar come together.
